The Nissan 370Z, which was completely overhauled just two years ago, enters the 2011 model year with minimal changes and only modest price increases. The 2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe starts at $31,360, while the 2011 370Z Roadster is priced from $38,270. Changes on the 2011 models are limited to a new exterior color, Gun Metallic, and the addition of a rearview monitor to the optional Navigation package.
The 2011 Nissan 370Z Coupe and Roadster models continue to be powered by the 3.7L DOHC V6 engine making 332-hp mated to a choice of 6-speed manual transmission with an available SynchroRev Match synchronized Downshift Rev Matching system or a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, paddle shifters and Downshift Rev Matching. The Nissan NISMO 370 is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission with standard SynchroRev Match. Changes for 2011 are limited to one new exterior color, Gun Metallic.
By Nissan's own admission, the 370Z Coupe and Roadster are largely unchanged for the 2011 model year.
Touring models, which adds features like Bluetooth phone connectivity, a Bose audio system, and allow buyers to opt for features like navigation, start at $36,030 with the six-speed manual transmission. Predictably, adding the seven-speed automatic to a Touring model adds $1300, bringing the base price to $37,330.
Base six-speed convertibles start at $38,270, while cars built with the automatic gearbox sticker for $39,570. 370Z Roadster Touring models start at $41,820 with manual transmissions; springing for automatic transmission brings the base price up to $42,370.
As Nismo models aren't offered with navigation, the sole revision for 2011 is the availability of the Gun Metallic exterior color. Pricing begins at $40,740, roughly $330 more than a comparable 2010 model.
Look for 2011 370Z Coupe, 370Z Roadster, and Nismo 370Z models to arrive at Nissan dealers nationwide this week.
