2011 Lexus RX 350 is as innovative as ever
Lexus RX 350 Reviews
The Lexus RX 350 sits on standard 18-inch alloy wheels (19-inch wheels are optional). The impressive Voice-Recognition Technology controls Bluetooth, navigation, climate and audio controls by using normal speech.
When it comes to safety, the 2011 Lexus RX 350 is as innovative as ever. Passengers are wrapped in an advanced 10 airbag system and a four-sensor, four-channel Anti-Lock Braking System with Brake Assist provides excellent control and supplemental braking power. Vehicle Stability Control measures wheel speed, steering angle and yaw rate to detect a loss of wheel traction.
The 2011 Lexus RX 350 also receives the coveted IIHS “Top Safety Pick” designation.
With plenty of utility, safety features and a plethora of cutting-edge technology, the 2011 Lexus RX 350 rests at the pinnacle of the luxury crossover class
The "2011 Lexus RX 350" ranks 4 out of 17 Luxury Midsize SUVs. The 2011 Lexus RX 350 remains a class-leasing SUV for its comfortable and luxurious interior, good performance and excellent fuel economy.
Most reviewers agree that the Lexus RX 350 is one of the most well-rounded luxury midsize SUVs on the market. While option packages on the RX can cost thousands of dollars, the RX has a lower starting price than most of the competition – even with options, it may end up costing less. All in all, reviewers say that the RX is tough to beat.
The RX 350 comes in front or all-wheel drive. It's also available as a hybrid, the RX 450h, which is reviewed separately.
The all-wheel-drive version features an Active Torque Control AWD system that optimizes torque depending on driving conditions, resulting in improved efficiency and performance.
While RX will feature voice recognition as standard, the new navigation system will also include a new casual language voice-recognition system that acknowledges conversational commands. The new RX is available with a selection of option packages, which include features like a Mark Levinson Surround Sound system, a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system, dynamic radar cruise control, and a Sports Package featuring a sport-tuned suspension.
